...as a tanning suit, they are extremely comfortable, appear to be colorfast in salt water, anyway. I got a lot of compliments last weekend, the first time I wore them there. They are a crotchless style, so they may not be for everybody, at least for the purpose of a swimsuit, but, if you are somewhat daring, these are absolutely the most comfortable I've worn, especially in a crotchless. There's plenty of stretch and room, to allow completely free movement.
